- What would be the advantage of using an inline planner board vs say a mini dipsey diver off the side?
were talking skinny water 10-20 ft the advantage is the boards will take bait away from  boat,100ft away or more if you want.you could run the boat in 15ft of water and the boards in 5ft if you want....big advantage when dealing with spooky fish.

boards will also let you setup a decent spread in skinny water. ie, 3 flat lines per side...impossible to run 3 dipsy's per side in the same skinny water.
