20d hold 2 colours?

does anyone know if a convector 20d will hold 2 maybe 2.5 colours and how much braid backing could I fit.

Yes it will work ,the 20d holds 210 yrds of 20 lbs diameter.2 colours are the same as 90yrds of 20 lbs mono i believe.Deduct those yards from total capacity &  you have 120yrds of 20lbs diameter left to work with.next convert the yrds left (120)too the diamter of backing(50 lbsP.P) =154 yrds approx).Don't forget to leave some room for a leader!If this sounds too confusing im sure someone else can put it in words better then me.good luck & go with a 30d if you have not bought a reel yet for more backing or 30lbs backing instead on the 20(full spoll of 150 yrds) & still have room for a long leader!

problem is allready have the reel I have 2 30's but I use them for dipsys I'm adding boards and 2 more rods  .for a six rod spread I have a penn 209 with 4 colours and I have the 20d sitting around so I want to utilize it. could I get away with 18lb core and 20lb braid backing or would that be to light?

i modified my last post,i would think 30 lbs full spoll of 150yrds would be pretty safe.
