Shakers on leadcore

Further to my previous post (managing your spread with leadcore);
I'm curious to know if you are aware when you have a small shaker on a leadcore line. I'm thinking that running with a full core @ 28lbs, a shaker is not going to move your line much and it may be a challenge knowing whether or not you're dragging a one pound fish??
Appreciate your thoughts as always.
Thx,
Symon

Shakers are a problem on lead core.  About all you can do is pull the line in and check once in a while.

Lots of fun with shakers on 10+ colors of leadcore. LOL. Its a pain in th a**, but what do you do. On calm days you can kind of tell they're there. You get used to the action of the rod.
