Snap weights on leadcore

I know when trolling with a body bait a one oz weight will make in deep 33% deeper when 20 infront of the lure.
Would it have the same effect on leadcore?

Similiar results, you'll have to experiment to know exact depth increase(boat speed/currents/lure used(additional drag).

Whenever you add snap weights to core or copper, attach the weight onto the backing behind the core/copper, otherwise you'll loose the rise/fall effect of the line.
