2013 Host A Veteran Fishing Derby

Here is what you need to know:

• Date: Saturday, June 15th 2013
• Port:  Bronte Inner Harbor
• Briefing:  meet at 6am / Veterans assigned to boats (Bronte Beach Park - Inner Harbor)
• Derby:  start 7am / end 12pm
• Cost:  FREE / Donations encouraged / Veteran's Appreciation Pin for sale $5
• Money raised:  All money raised goes to support the Military Family Resouce Center's
• BBQ afterwards:  YES - FREE (via donations)
• Trophy Presentation:  YES - FREE (via donations)

All around great day on the water.
Quite a few Veterans showed up and had a great time.
Congratulations to Ben Godfried and his Veterans for taking 1st place this year with some nice Kings.
Well done Guy Smith for hosting a great event for a noble cause.
