Rod And Reel for Planner Boards

What kind of rods and reels are you using on your boards? Can I just use my Rigger rods with Okuma 30lc reels and 30lb big game line? THanks

Yup u can.  I use okuma blue diamonds medium action with clarion 20's and 30's.   Works for me.

That is good to hear. I'm gonna need a bigger boat soon if I keep buying more stuff.

That's the right attitude. Make sure your next boat is bigger than you need so you can justify new gear, then overspend on gear and repeat  ;D
