Scotty cannonball snubbers
« on: July 11, 2015, 01:54:26 pm »
Maybe old news but  I lost two 15lb sharks due to the breakaway fh cable breaking  while sitting just below the water line. Very expensive day.  Never lost the fishhawk probe but don't really want to buy new balls every outing. I picked up a pair of the scotty cannonball snubber and they work flawlessly  if anyone has these issues, Give them a try  the only thing is I'm not sure the rating., but 15 lb sharks love them  :D

Yup, used them two times so far and won't go back.  So much less stress on the cable and arm.

Been running 20 pound weights on them this year and so far they have been great. I talked to scotty when I started using the 20 pound weights and the Said that they should not be a problem. Although others have said that they a very sensitive  to uv light and should be stored our of the sun and replace every year if you use heavy weights and fish alot.
