Navionics platinum is on sale from April 1 - 30. If your shopping for a new card its an easy way to save $30. Platinum has top down satellite imagery that can be useful for fisherman looking for bottom composition and shoreline structure that is not shown by contours. Of course it also has the same great charts any of the other Navionics cards have, but only the Platinum card comes preloaded with Sonarcharts so there is no downloading if you have slow internet or are intimidated by updating the card yourself.
