2017 Crop of Chinooks arrive Wed, April 5th to Whitby Harbour

Just a short announcement for everyone who might have to ability to join us for the arrival of 25000 juvenile chinook salmon on Wed, April 5th down at Whitby Harbour. Will post more precise arrival time when known, but if you'd like to play a part in MEA's Port Whitby pen project, we could use some hands down at the water for transfer of the fish from the trailer out to the pens on the docks. Meet up will take place at the Marina building off Watson Street in Whitby. Stay tuned for more details...

Looks like arrival time for Whitby chinooks will be approximately 11:00 am Wed, April 5...c'mon down to lend a hand to help foster the next generation of salmon for Lake O. We'll be meeting up at the marina building at the bottom of Watson Street around 10:45am. Dress for the weather, and we'll see you then!
