...it would seem that we all need to start fishing out of Bluffers more often!!

Is it possible there's a much higher percentage of fishermen launching out of Bluffers? Or is it really just a better place to catch fish?

Boats that may have been moored at Port Hope or Bowmanville had to go elsewhere considering the water conditions and available dockage (none at PH and not much at Bowmanville).  I know some moved to Bluffers.

its amazing eh, lol a lot of hard work on the pens may have helped, always laugh cause one of the old time big boy on the lake always refered to the bluffs as "the sewer" well shits happening here,,,,lol

I think it has a lot more to do with the number of anglers... Bluffers is the pain port for Toronto-area anglers... 6+ million people live in the GTA.. you're gonna get more anglers and that = more catch
