I got out for the first time in a long time with my neighbour on his boat. We left at 5PM for the evening bite.

Set up in 90ft of water in front of PD - marked some great fish and bait - scattered though. Some big marks right on bottom, some around 50ft and lots around 30 - smaller though it seemed.

Ended up with two good Steelhead on the Dipsey, with a Spindoctor & Skeiner's A-Tom-Mik fly (thanks Tom!) - 10 and 12 lbs. FYI, I had JUST changed up a green Echip, that I had been dragging for 45 minutes, for the Spindoctor when the hits came - kept the same fly.  150 feet back on a 3 setting.

As we were netting my second Steelhead, line started peeling off the stacked DR rod.  Neighbour grabs that one and brought in a nice Chinook - 21.8lbs.  Not a record breaker by any means but it sure looked big compared to the Steelhead! It was getting a little brown and pretty obviously ready to move into the 12M.

Caught that one in about 30 feet over 75 on a GFR J-13.

Successfully released all 3.
