GOSD Catch after weigh station closed
« on: July 11, 2018, 02:33:56 pm »
Sorry if the answer is obvious and I've missed it. This is my first time fishing the GOSD. What happens if you catch in the evening after the weigh stations have closed? Does it not count? Or maybe you can hold the fish until next morning?
Thanks
Andy

Pack her in the cooler with ice and water and wait for the scales to open the following day.
Talk is cheap, where's the photo to prove it?

Can you then drive to a weigh station?

Would love to get an official answer. I'm docked at Bronte and I suppose I could keep the fish on the boat overnight with some ice but I don't want to be breaking any rules. Not that I have caught anything sufficiently large to worry about, but there's always hope! Doesn't seem to be addressed in the rules as far as I can see.
