Inline planer trouble shooting
« on: February 10, 2019, 05:11:05 am »
Hey guys. I used two types of inline planer last year. One opti tackle and the other is the Church board. I think it's the next size down from the walleye board.  I noticed that of the two boards  the latter is a bit more stable but I find both of them seem to do a lot of tugging back and don't seem to run straight and true for long. Kind of like the lure jerks them back often. Hope I'm explaining that well enough.
Is that just the way these are and is there a way to better tune them?.  Guessing this is the reason people prefer to use the masts and large planers. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the ones you're referring to, but the modifications from Blood Run really helped us with the big TX-44s.
