The PWSFA executive are pleased to announce the dates for our annual series of derbies running out of Port Whitby this summer. A big thank you to all of our participants and many sponsors on another successful derby series in 2018, despite having to endure our first ever cancellation of the final tournament. Your participation and a major contribution from the Bluffer's Pen Derby contributed to a record donation of $9000 to Metro East Anglers and their ongoing operations up at the Ringwood Hatchery.
Reports from Ringwood are that the Coho Salmon and Brown Trout hatches have been very good to date, and the hope is for total stocking quotas for Lake Ontario (across all species) to be above the 135,000 mark in 2019.
PWSFA Executive are meeting this evening to start planning for this summer's derbies, however, the dates have been set already...
