Tobermory?
« on: April 20, 2019, 01:18:15 pm »
Hey everyone,
I'm renting a cottage in Tobermory mid May.  I can't find any info for fishing this area.  Any advice?
I'd really like to catch some speckled/brook trout, but I'd like to target kings and rainbows as well..

Looking for advice on what to use and where to go.

Thanks.

Got out once this week.  Had a  nice boat ride.  Didn't mark a fish.  I could see bottom in 55 feet of water.  At 40 feet you could see every rock!
I did see a  nice sized salmon under the dock in the marina.  Must have been at least 15 lbs.

That’s why that area is so popular with scuba divers. Clear water and shipwrecks.

Apparently the laker fishing is quite good out there.  Wish I had some more info for ya.
