Kings? Bait?

Awfully quiet on this site. Hopefully you all are doing well over there. What are you all seeing on your graphs? King bite starting? Bait movement?  Stay safe.

Hey Chad,  Remember "spoon wars" 2008?  ;)
Sounds like many who were out on the weekend got into some kings, from Grimsby to St Catharines.
Not sure on bait sightings but it sounds like Niagara had a smelt run on the weekend

On Saturday I marked a few bait balls up high. I kept 1 Chinook and it had nothing in its belly but was a very healthy, thick fish. Looks like we are going to have a great size for this years 3 year old class.

Spoon wars was awesome.  Still tapin'- custom rules!  Kings coming out winter period typically don't have food in their belly.  I would agree the kings look good this year, getting a bunch in the 16-18 lb size. I tried a good old wooden Canadian Lyman the other day on a junk line for shittakes and giggles but no luck on the plug.  BTW, you can get canadian made wood plugs at Bestlure.ca.  (your welcome).  Stay safe over there!
