Portable Fishhawk Experience
« on: June 02, 2020, 11:33:57 pm »
I have searched on this and no reasonable responses. Has anyone had experience with the portable Fishhawk, 3 people I fish with and I all have boats so we rotate boats depending on 2 or 3 of us. 7-750 for the portable you could move between boats 300+ to have one that gets used 1/3 of the time. Same probe from what I can find. Any feedback would be appreciated. And yes I have the smallest boat of the fleet so would love to have one but wouldn't use every trip but it would get used more with the portable.

Technically you just need 3 transducers and 3 power cables.  The head unit and probe can go front boat to boat. ( sorry fishhawk )

there was an aluminum clamp on holder for a transducer available, US made, however it bends when the boat is moving at high speed
