Port Dalhousie June 9th
« on: June 11, 2020, 04:01:10 pm »
I was out on the water solo at 8:45am and stayed out until 3:30pm.  Water was still and it was crazy hot.  This was my third time on Lake Ontario and having never caught anything I ended up With 12 bites and went 4/7.  2 keeps and 2 babies - all king.
Sorry if I don’t have the lingo down yet.
21” caught on a dipsy, stinger flasher and a streamer
19” caught on a dipsy, stinger flasher and a moonshine spoon.
The two babies were caught on spoons as well (forget the name), no flasher.
Lost 3 monsters, 2 because of inexperience and one spit the hook out just as I was about to land him.
Every hit was between 120-135 FOW and with lures down at 35’.  Blue & silver worked well for me.
All in all a pretty good day for this newbie.

Inexperience  is a good thing  . It will make you better.  Good report. Keep it up.
