Where are the kings?
« on: June 20, 2020, 09:28:37 am »

Went out three times this week from Pt. Dalhousie and marked numerous bait balls during that time. We landed several good sized rainbows and coho, but of the 12 fish we boated, not a single Chinook. What gives? My records show that we have caught at least one king on only two occasions out of 10 trips this season. This is my slowest king haul in the last 8 years....yes, I factored in the Covid time out.

We have tried a wide variety of lures, depths, speeds etc...no kings. I have read the North Shore reports and it seems they are getting them on a regular basis. Anyone else finding a lack of big Salmon off the Niagara Shore?
