Terrova heading sensor

I’m just completing the install of my Minn Kota Terrova. Where is the best place to locate the heading sensor on a Lund Fishenrman 1700. I was thinking in front of the starboard windshield  ,where there is a flat area to mount it away from any power wires.

I have a G3 and I installed mine under the starboard windshield. It seems to work good for me.

I have my
Minn Kota heading sensor right on top of my dash starboard side. This way it’s easily accessible if I ever need to pair it. It will pair automatically after you do it once. But if u disconnect the batteries it will need to be done again.
