Canada day 50 point
« on: July 01, 2020, 12:39:33 pm »
Changed it up and hunted hooks using the graphs today ( there were Atleast 25+ boats out there by 7am)
Spot locked and jigged for big lakers using white and chartreuse swim baits and flukes on 1oz fusion heads.

Went 7/7 on the hunt. Biggest was around 18 lbs most around 8-11lbs Marked loads of bait( 2d sonar medium chirp was lit up like a Christmas tree), and bombed around a lot of different depths and breaks but all fish coming from 65-80 FOW. All lakers.
Great fighters on medium tackle
Went for a dip by the beach by 10am and called it a day.
Flys were out biting because of no wind but the surface temps were nice for swimming (72ish)
50 ramp was insane busy

Happy Canada day

Thats the way to catch them, so much more fun jiggin.
I've been doing the same with the Walleye fishing on Erie, drifting and jiggin is the way to go, lite tackle.
