Hope that's it, let us know if that fixed it for ya. I fished our new Helix 5 transducer to our console  this week.  Hoping that solves our problem as well. Although the Helix 7 plug/cord has 4 prongs, the helix 5 only has 3. We'll see when we get out again.

Hey Duffin I was talking to a hummingbird rep, and was telling my problem with my fish finder and he recommended to do another update of the website. I know I did a update over a month ago so it could of been a glitch in the upgrade??? I will try and do it this week and see what happens.

Speerzy,  I'll try that as well. Although the rep. I spoke with said get a new transducer.

I still have to do the update but the voltage was my problem worked like a charm tonite in owensound ended up losing one at the boat but all and all happy it fixed my problem also the unit ran alot cooler

Sorry for the 2 replys but noticed they took the helix 5 updates off the website I'm pissed gonna be calling Tuesday and everyday till they put it back up
