Jordan July 11

On the water by 5:45 ran to 100fow dropped 2 riggers and 2 dipsies in. First hit was a screaming run on the rigger with green SD and green and silver fly. Must have had a nick in the braid because mid run my 50lb power pro broke just past the reel. I only run 20lb leaders.  5 min later I get another screamer I get it to within 80ft of boat and the leader broke at the knot. The fish then jumped 6 times just to let me know how heart broken I should be. Lol. It still hurts.

Next double header with a big laker and a small bow.

Couple more Lakers then another good rip that came unbuttoned as I was lifting rod out of  rigger. Next was a 24.4lb king on a wonderbread dipsey and green spoon. 400ft heart stopping run lol. After that it was all lakers. I think we went 8 for 15 all fish in around 90 to 125 fow 40 to 75 feet down.

Green NK spoons, green flies and a purple and black RAC spoon took all the hits other than a laker on the 300 copper and blue Lyman plug. Off the water by 1:30

Some of the salmon apple wood smoked over charcoal with a maple/crushed black pepper glaze. Tastes
