Be on the lookout for a big  king with a purple  Michigan stinger in its tap with about 5 colours o lead cor attached. The suffix dacron broke. New this year.
Still managed a 15 lbs king a 4 small cohos. Pretty rough today.

I usually launch at Fisherman's pier. It's convenient. But it gets really busy in the weekends.
Can anybody tell me if it's better from fifty point?

50 is usually better but nuts on Saturday because  fishermans peir was closed du to the bridge jumper

its not. if you are gonna launch on the weekends before 9 am its going to be busy anywhere you go.
50 point is bad because during the week the front gates open at 7am and 6am on weekends. but when you call 50 point it says nothing about official hours and mentions they are open from sunrise to sunset,

so what i see all the time, is HRCA pass holders with boats, will enter 50 point through the exit side, then cut accrross the grass with their boat and hairpin turn to get at the swipe card access gate. and surprisingly it opens. but occasionaly it will say access denied, then it gets all bunged up.
there will be a lineup of trucks and trails entering in the park through the exit and cutting accross the grass lol  and you are stuck until that gate opens because there is no way to turn around.
