Port Dalhousie 07Aug

Reports of a windy day were wrong, so I got a late start. On the water at 10, stayed till 2. Got a lake trout down deep, 120 FOW with rigger at 85. Went a couple hours with no luck trying everything. Ended up with a couple nice rainbows, 5 and 6 lbs, in 110 FOW only 35 feet down. Both were caught after 12 but before 1330. All fish caught on green spoons. Didnít mark a darn thing today. About a dozen boats out there when we arrived, everyone gone by 1300 hrs.
Just us retired guys kept going.

Hey I was out of 50 today trolled east
Had a lot of fish come check out my offerings on the graph but no takers. Ended up taking a juvenile king 85 down over 115FOW. Came on a green frog nk28.

No takers on flyís or meat today. Tough NNE wind made it bumpy.

Was off the water by 1.
Went out for a cruise with the family this evening And rode down to Jordan and the lake was glass with just some rollers
