Niagara River Help

Looking to learn how to fish the lower Niagara River using a bow mount etc. I would like someone who has lots of knowledge to come out in my boat and teach me etc. I have an Alumacraft 185 Trophy with a motorguide xi3 70lb thrust. Would like to go out in October time frame if possible. If anyone is interested please let me know. Willing to pay if required.

Its not as intimidating as you would think if you have never boated on the lower.  There is a lot of current in some runs, but others are pretty tame.  If you run up past the hydro ducts its tricky but  below queenston is a breeze.  The electric trolling motor will be your best friend.

Don’t get too close to the shore anglers in front of queenston lol! They get a bit hostile casting their one ounce weights 150ft out.

Hire a charter and you will recoup all the money spent in tips and tricks you will get off the boat with a bunch of fish also. You can't beat the knowledge a guy has that does it for a living.

Go in his boat you won't be disappointed you can transfer all you learn to your boat. Let him know up front you are looking for a lesson on how to fish the river.

Check out Paul Castellano. His guide service is called Cast Adventures. I’ve fished with him many times and he knows every inch of that River. I’ve learned quite a bit from him. Best guide on the river

I understand the thought process with your request, but if I were a guide, and fishing the Niagara (upper or lower) I would want to use my own boat. One that I am accustomed to and know how it reacts in current etc.
