Crystal Report Oct 5
« on: October 06, 2020, 11:04:36 am »
Got out again yesterday at Crystal late a buddy and myself. We went to the spot I'd marked the other day and was 2 other boats there. We ended with 20 nice Perch.

We left because my batteries died on my Minn kota I-Pilot, Didn't think it would last to long because it got rough white caps, it was running at # 10 for quite awhile.

I met another buddy at the ramp when we got there and told him the spot I was going, he also joined us, he ended with 24 nice ones.

Great report. It might be a while before the lake is fishable again. Hopefully soon

Thanks for posting.
Are north winds generally favourable out that way?  Up to how many knots?

And have you tried using drift bags to slow down?

I'd sooner see North winds, no winds are better. I anchor for Perch, the big problem is finding them.
