7/12 on Saturday and 4/7 on Sunday. All lakers, 30-50fow mostly caught around 40-45 fow not too far from the channel.
Same setup on both days, downriggers with cowbells on the bottom, 4x planers, 2x rods with 3-color leadcore and 2x rods with 100ft weighted steel.
Sat 6 on cowbell + 1 on 100ft weighted steel.
Sun all 4 on 100ft weighted steel and orange dreamweaver steelhead/rainbow spoons.
Very happy that my special termination of weighted steel took a test on 5 lakers this weekend. The largest 18.7 lbs, 30 min to pull out.
I am thinking not bad for an opener.
