April 17 AM - Jordan, Dalhousie and Port Weller
« on: April 18, 2021, 12:33:37 am »
Started out in Jordan. Marked bait from 20-50 FOW but no fish. Picked up and head toward Dalhousie but then saw all the boats out from of port weller and the Niagara bar. Stopped and trolled out front of Port Weller for a couple hours. Was in 35 FOW and got a 14lb chinook and a 5 lb Atlantic. Both were caught with a jointed rapala straight out 150 feet. Had another jointed rapala on the rigger down 15 feet and it didn’t take anything. Lots of green water out front of port Weller and water was 48 degrees.

nice work. what were the water levels like in the harbour?
For all those P.E.T.A people, plants are living things too, just easier to catch...

Not as low as it was a couple weeks ago. Lots of water there to launch. But it is lower than last year for sure.
