Is the Public Launch at Bluffers open now?

No bluffers launch not open, but I hear a few are especially in the west end.

I did get confirmation from the police at bluffers that its ok to go on the lake without ant problems from them and the marina said they cannot stop anyone leaving there dock .
So its shake down days over the weekend.

I’d check with Bluffers. I am not allowed to leave the dock at my marina. Have to stay tied up.

I did check with Bluffers and they told me they cannot stop anyone leaving there dock. Boats moving about the marina all day today and the cigarette - cigar boat was doing 100mph lol in the week, but not in the marina!!

Boats at a marina are only allowed to tie up and perform "maintenance" to their boat. The marina is responsible to prevent "recreational" boating, and the marina can be fined up to 100k, the boater $750........who enforces it though is the question.

The general public may find it unfair that boaters are out enjoying the lake, while they are stuck indoors and could report it........if they want to be that way

I repeat I was verbally told by the marinas office that they cannot stop anyone from leaving the dock and where they want to go is up to the boater. Please ring Bluffers to confirm for yourself

Where  think the confusion arises is that only if the marina is closed you cannot leave the dock. If the marina is open and bluffers is open it is ok according to the rules and regs.
