Lol it’s always a possibility! I checked the time and I’m pretty sure there was a question about wire rods in the making before my wife decided my time was better spent cutting the lawn!!!!
But seeing as you found this are you running wire Bob and if soo what kind of rod?

Okuma Copper Lead core rod with Twillie tip.  Almost bought a roller rod but found all brands too expensive and heavy.

This is what you want.
I also have a Convector with a roller rod.  Reel is ok ( cold waters are better) but I dislike the rod.  And it was WAY more expensive.
Just make sure you get the Twili tip and install after.

It seems the twili tips are more popular than the rollers.
Send some fish my way. I’ll be fishing Wellington over the next two weeks.
