Great catch. I just caught a 28 in Atlantic in about a hundred fifty feet of water. Had a doubleheader on the same line with a small Chinook down 80 feet on a Green Spoon and caught the Atlantic on a cheater with a small Pro King chartreuse and Blue spoon.

Nice fish. I’ve caught them out in Newfoundland on a fly rod. They are really powerful and jump like crazy.

That was the weird thing.   My Atlantic just bulldozed.

Nice!  I caught a tagged 29.5 inch Atlantic last weekend near the drop off. I spoke to MNR this week and my fish was released west side of the lake in Feb this year. Apparently it was a stud raised in captivity for fertilizing eggs. It was retired this past Feb and by how healthy it looks, it’s enjoying being in the lake.
It fought, jumped took line and bulldozed. I would not complain if there was a lake full of these.

That thing is a tank.

In regard to LFP, talked to a few folks.  Not a lot of fish being seen on fishfinders.  A few  baitballs but didnt mark any hooks.

Funny after I realized what it was I was disappointed it didn’t jump even once on the way to the boat. It pretty much bull dogged all the way into the net. At a couple of points in the fight it just wouldn’t budge. Fun nonetheless.

I hooked another one this week that was quite big, it did jump and sent my spoon flying.  Pretty cool to have these in the mix always a nice surprise...Nice catch bud.
