Evening Bite 50 Pt ..July 19
« on: July 20, 2021, 08:34:30 pm »
Finally, the fishing gods were with us. Had to go deep for the majority of our fish…250’ and greater - 65’ to 75’ down. GPS speed was critical..2.8 to 3.1mph All 4 rods produced fish..took us some time before we were able to get all rods down. Agitator w moonshine frog, SD w pickle fly, NK spoons in green patterns
all produced. Glow markings on lures helped greatly IMO. Multiple large bait balls 50’ below surface tended to give up feeding fish. Fish size tended to decrease as we trolled in staying around the 146’ depth. All in all a great evening..went 15 for 19.

Awesome day. I’m seriously jealous. I sold my fishing boat and bought a sailboat so I haven’t been out salmon fishing this year.

As soon as I finish the renovation of the sailboat I will be adding rod holders. No reason I can’t sail at 3 mph. Lol
