No bite first light for us ! Nothing until 10 AM 100+ fow lost fish on slider DW greasy chicken wing ; at 10:30 double header boated a very nice King Salmon [ which we had for supper ] on a stacker Michigan Stinger " super UV yellow tux [ wow ] then battle royal big fish on the line ! Took 30 min. to land very big Lake Trout 20+ lbs. off Dipsy with WRAC blueberry muffin ! [ fish made oriental guy off west pier very happy ]

Great report. How deep were your lines

Re " How deep for lines " ? At ~100 fow the main line is at or near the bottom with a stacker up ~ 15 ft. The other line is the same at or near the bottom . If no bites after 20 min, move very thing up to ~ 70 ft, down then maybe change . Dipsys are just a guess using 40 lb. braid , wire has not worked for us .
We have given up running lead core off boards trying to get Rainbows as Dan Keating suggests in his book on Lake Michigan !
