See that carpet I throw on the back deck isn't just for fish blood! At least it wasn't me this time  ;D.

I told Ross it may have hurt me more just watching the surgery but he assured me otherwise.  :P

Nice job boys - kept driving past Jordan to Grimsby all weekend long staring at the water (except for today where it was getting nasty with that strong east wind) wishing I was there.

Didn't see too many boats out there from Jordan yesterday and I wished it was the same way down this way in a month or so.....can't say I've been hooked by a salmon before either.

I'm still compiling reference statistics on cirle hooks vs singlesvs trebles
so far its a tie between siwash and circle hooks for bait
as for flys its been siwash the most productive
I believe from what the camera has revealed that with flys they don't seem to hang on to the fly or engulf the fly as they do on meat
so the circle hook on flys doesn't at present seem to be as effective as octopus hooks
Steve and Ross may be able to inject some of their experience

It sounds like the fishing is picking back up again. Good news.

well randy my record keeping is not as precise as yours,,but i started running double octopus beak hooks on flys and meat last year and found that they worked superior to to a single treble set up,and were equal in holding fish to treble/single combos,,,,,as for the circle hooks they are something new i am trying this year,so far i haven't noticed a difference

Are we talking about finger hook-up ratios or fish?  ;D
