Fair Haven Report 9/9/06
« on: September 11, 2006, 07:28:00 am »
What an awsome morning in Fair Haven. Slept in until 7:00 got out on the lake around 7:30. Found the fish we were looking for over 320' of water and 90-110 down. By 11:00 we had our limit and were throwing them back when an aproaching storm chased us off the lake. We had doubles twice 4 mature kings, 1 coho, a couple of steelies one at 12lbs and 32". NBK stingers, a 2007 release Raider, Blue bubble spinny with an A-Tom-Mik Powder Blue Fly, Chrome e-chip with an A-Tom-Mik Hammer fly, and a 00 Orange dodger with an A-Tom-Mik Aqua-T fly all had there way with the fish. 7 for 12 in just over 3 hrs.
Saturday night we had a great time at the picnic in Oswego. Thanks to Tom Germain and his crew for putting together a wonderful event.
Sunday we laid low and tried to pick some out of the "hole" in front of the chute. Didn't feel up to the long ride out thru the chop that was still there from the previous day
