Offshore planer board with a #1 dipsey???

Anyone run this setup for the outside lines? Will the board (regular offshore planer boards) stay above water while using a dispey / lymans?

In the salmon application no real advantage....most 6 rod spreads consist of 2 riggers two dipsy and two boards running copper or core dude.

Wouldn't there be some days you would want to run all 6 rods dipsies or all copper or all core or all torpedo's?

i've run the four dipsy spread on my 17'er boat ... but again, the fifth and sixth rod are riggers.

i've also run a six inline spread of the boat, 3 per side, but only for "lesser fighting fish" (ie, bows, ho's, browns, and walleye - not chinooks)

but a six dipsy spread....that would be tough on a smaller boat.

    6 dipseys are do able 6 copper would be more than difficult. Big D " s Response was in regards to practical and effective presentations .  That pressman team is worth listening to . Keep it simple guys . Just to add the torpedos work well on the boards easy to set up and run .
