Were trying to arrange a covid friendly tourney in support of a friend with a rare form of cancer. Hoping to launch out of fishermans pier june 20. Physical distancing for sign up...no weigh in...pics of measurement sticks etc...online raffle draws for some great prizes. All the info is on a page on facebook...will post the page in comments. Hoping to get a decent turnout to help this guy. Were also running some raffles to support our very own slim as he battles cancer as well!!
Let come together from a distance and help members of our fishing community. Many great vendors supporting with prizes. The organizers are being very respectul of the covid situation. Raffle draws and winner announcements to be done from the boats on the water...
I will post a link to the page after this. Donate or fish or both!!! Lets help our friends while not creating an unsafe situation for anyone. Details in the link to follow. Thanks all!!

Very important announcement:
We apologize to do this but better to make the decision now then last minute.
The Burlington lift bridge at Skyway will be inoperable until later on in the morning on June 20th . This raises concern for those of us who have taller vessels. Also Eastport will be closed from the north side of the QEW.
We do not want any one to get stuck trying to get to fishermen's Pier or not fit under the lift bridge.
We will move the event To Bronte Inner Harbour launch. We will Blast off from Bronte. Registration will be closed at 6am blast off time will be 6:30am to accomodate people who have longer journeys to get to Bronte. same tournament format.
If anyone has any question or concerns please messege one of us. Thanks for understanding.

Hey Rodger.....can even an old codger like me get into this????? Taking the boat out tomorrow for a shakedown and gear check. Super Trooper has been bugging my butt something fierce about getting out. If the weather is good....we should be there. Interested in Venison pepperettes? I got 40 pounds of them. LOL!!!!!The more boats we get, the more money we can donate to Andrew to help him fight. Also, bring the pepperettes..... all of them lol
