Title: 50 point June 19 evening
Post by: Deep Meat on June 20, 2020, 12:15:41 am
 ???

Left from 50 around 530 after waiting forever for some real scholars to move their boats from the ramp. Headed NE towards odas buoy. Set up in 70 FOW and trolled out to 160 FOW

Marked most bait in 75-100 FOW. Not many hooks though.
Nabbed a couple Lakers and rainbows for the grill but no kings. Also had a few knock offs That we missed cuz the tunes were goin.

Green Meat seemed to be favourable/ Mongolian beef moonshine

Also avoided a couple floating root balls/trees out there. Be careful when under way lots of debris

No flies

Happy Father’s Day to all

June 18 had the same newbies at the launch.  kind of funny watching them but I just had to help or I would have been there all night waiting to get in..

We also marked some good bait in the same ranges but no kings hooked.  Do you think they are predominantly gone from Grimsby area until late July ?  We did well on smaller kings about 2 weeks ago but the water was much choppier .

Not really sure. My fishing partners wanted to troll easterly of the buoy but I think the chrome have headed west towards the Burlington basin and around to bronte especially after these east blows we’ve had

I like eating rainbows so I have no problem catchin em all day and they are fun too

I can tell you they haven't headed West, that's for sure!
