Title: new to the board
Post by: Griffin on May 21, 2020, 09:45:56 am
Hi from the Griffin out of Port Dalhousie (Nino's).
I haven't put in yet as the rules of the current Ontario social distancing seem vague to me. Can I take a guest or friend fishing or am I limited to a family member from the same address?

Welcome to the group!  You are absolutely able to take friends fishing.  The only law that has been enacted in Ontario is the Emergency Measures Act which allows the government to force non essential businesses and services to close.  It also allows them to limit social gatherings to no more than five people.  So as long as you do not have more than four friends on your boat, you are not breaking any laws.  Hope this helps!  Fair winds and tight lines.
